Client Architect Agreement Pack
Client Architect Agreement for ALL ArchiTeam members, along with a User Guide and CAD Disclaimer document.
Since the Client Architect Agreement (CAA) was updated and made free for all ArchiTeam members in 2022, we have regularly received queries about some parts of the CAA and the Terms and Conditions. ArchiTeam has collated all of these and Holding Redlich Lawyers have reviewed and updated the current version as well as provided advice that has assisted ArchiTeam in producing a User Guide.
Many of you have also discussed wanting a CAD disclaimer, so we are now providing all three documents to members for free.
- Format: Electronic PDF, for perpetual use.
- National Usage: This contract has been tailored to comply with nationwide legislation and is applicable in all Australian States and Territories. Note: that the other States and Territories do not need to be listed, as the Architects Acts for those States do not require any additional inclusions.

Work Health & Safety (WHS) Kit
The ArchiTeam Work Health & Safety (WHS) Kit (2021) has been reviewed and redone to provide members a tool to use within your practices and to provide the supplementary information needed to submit for preferred suppliers lists and tender/RFI submissions to councils and government.
The WHS Kit can also be used to express a practices’ health and safety expectations and assists the practice to achieve better health & safety results

Employment Agreement
The ArchiTeam Employment Agreement (2021) has been specifically designed for a small architectural practice, employing staff on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis can be a significant commitment.
To simplify this process, we provide a standard form contract, crafted with legal expertise. This contract complies with current workplace legislation, ensuring clarity and understanding between you and your employee.
- Purpose: A standard form employment contract ensuring clarity and compliance with workplace legislation.
- Suitable for: Architects, Interior Designers, Draftspersons, Clerical & Administration staff.
- Price: $130 (Incl. GST).
BUSINESS DOCUMENTS - TERMS & CONDITIONS
ArchiTeam Cooperative Ltd (ABN 65 894 162 886) (ArchiTeam, us, we, our) may make business documents, such as template employment contracts and an OH&S Kit available for purchase on its website. By purchasing or using business documents from ArchiTeam you agree to be bound by these terms, the General Website Terms of Use, the payment terms, and any other applicable terms available at architeam.net.au. These business documents are not legal documents and are templates only and we strongly recommend that you seek professional advice in relation to these documents.
For the avoidance of doubt, the ‘Limitation of liability, no warranty and disclaimer’ provisions of our General Website Terms of Use, apply to all our goods and services.
RETURNS POLICY
If a Business Document product is clearly defective or if it is not consistent with any consumer warranties (only if they apply and only those which cannot be excluded at law), we will exchange it with an equivalent replacement product, provide you with a repaired document, or a refund, after you return the product to ArchiTeam.
ArchiTeam will not agree to a refund or accept a returned contract product merely because you have changed your mind.
DISPATCH
After we have confirmed your order and payment, we will dispatch the purchased items via email or Australia Post, within two (2) working days, subject to stock availability. We cannot accept any liability for delivery delays in connection with Australia Post’s service.
