THURS 24 FEB - PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS REPORTS
THURS 24 FEB - PERFORMANCE SOLUTIONS REPORTS
Date: Thursday 24 February 2022
Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Zoom
There has been an increased requirement for Performance Solutions following the introduction of the NCC 2019 Amendment 1 in July 2021. This has created more work for Architects with additional documentation or coordination of specialist consultants required.
Professional forums have lit up with questions: When should we expect to need a performance solution? How much will it cost? Who does what and how does that impact risk? How do I advise my client?
If you feel somehow confused by this whole process, if you fear that you are not able to provide the best advice to your clients, if you are discouraged by the perceived lack of clarity around performance solutions, then this is a CPD you must attend.
With the help our of speakers, we will provide more clarity on the process by using less technical jargon and more practical advice. We will discuss real case scenarios, touching base on time, cost and risk.
You will leave feeling more knowledgeable and empowered to navigate the performance solutions approval process in your work.

ACCA COMPETENCY:
Documentation – the process of resolving, detailing and communicating an architectural project through all project stages. The modes of documentation include modelling, drawings, specifications and schedules that can be used in the construction, contract management and handover of the project.
Documentation material must be consistent with design objectives, budgetary constraints and conform to relevant codes and industry standards. Where supplied by consultants, documentation compliance must be verified.
Project Management/ Delivery – the proficient, timely and cost-effective completion of an architectural project through all design and construction phases. Project Delivery must consider the range of contractual obligations carried by architects, clients, consultants and contractors.
Project Delivery involves the evaluation and implementation of procurement systems as well as appropriate contractual administration systems. The establishment and operation of project teams as well as formalising of project agreements (such as with client, team/s and contractor) is critical to competent project delivery.
