Some of you may have already met our partnerships manager, we asked our very own Christine Watson, 5 questions to find out a little more about her.
Who are you?
Originally from Adelaide, I left to travel and spent two years living in London and Scotland and travelling through Europe before settling in Sydney. I have spent most of my life in Sydney and been lucky enough to live on Hamilton Island before moving to Melbourne ten years ago. I am passionate in everything I do and have a love of life and live it to the fullest!
What do you do?
I am the Partnership Manager for ArchiTeam and really enjoy it. I am also a member of the Yarra River Dragons, a dragon boat club based in Victoria Harbour. I am a coach with YRD, an official for the Australian Dragon Boat Federation and have represented Victoria in the Australian Championships and I probably talk way too much of my love of dragon boating!
What has been your most scary/courageous thing you’ve ever done?
Win the battle against cancer.
Who do you admire and why?
My Mum and Dad – I am who I am because of them. The values learned from them showed me the way to live the life I live – with gusto and hopefully for a long time!
What is it about ArchiTeam that made you want to get involved?
Small business is the backbone of Australia and ArchiTeam supports small business. I really value what associations do for their members and recognise the importance of associations. At my interview, I immediately felt comfortable with Phoebe and Ophelia. The rest is history, going to work each day is an absolute pleasure.
