MINIMALISTIC DUAL OCCUPANCY - FEATURING SNAP-LINE45®

Architect Samuel Russo of Habitat Housing has created a striking dual-occupancy residence in Ramsgate, showcasing the power of modern design and innovative materials. The project, set in a streetscape dominated by traditional single-storey homes, stands out with its clean lines, symmetry, and minimalistic aesthetic.  

At the heart of this design is Snap-Line45®, an architectural panel system from No.1 Roofing & Building Supplies. The 345mm module panels, finished in Colorbond® Surfmist®, were chosen for their crisp, bold ribs and versatility. The light-coloured cladding not only complements the modern design but also enhances energy efficiency by reflecting sunlight, reducing heat absorption.  

Samuel Russo explains, “The choice of Snap-Line45® was driven by its ability to deliver clean, sharp lines that align perfectly with the project’s minimalistic intent. The system’s high-quality finish and ease of installation made it an ideal solution for achieving the desired aesthetic.”  

The design process was guided by the client’s brief for a modern, striking home that harmonises with its surroundings. Dual occupancy projects often present challenges, such as maximising space efficiency and ensuring privacy, but Snap-Line45® allowed for seamless integration of these requirements. The result is a home that not only meets functional needs but also makes a bold architectural statement.
