The Board acknowledges our wonderful business manager Anna Czermak’s resignation last month with some sadness. Her last day in the office was on Wednesday 22 March and she is off on a well-deserved long holiday touring Japan with her husband Glenn.
Anna’s efforts in the ArchiTeam office over more than 6 years helped build and grow our cooperative to the thriving members’ organisation that it is today, helping knock it into shape, refining and streamlining operations and once done launching new programmes with her ever-present enthusiasm.
Anna’s passion and expertise in marketing were instrumental in creating ArchiTeam’s now ever-growing web presence, a vibrant Facebook membership page and Architeam’s regular presence on social media.
She provided the friendly voice on the other end of the ArchiTeam phone line, providing support and a sympathetic, patient ear to our queries, and managed the annual intensive renewal period with aplomb.
There are many achievements due to Anna’s persistence and nous and the Board is very grateful for her contribution to ArchiTeam.
We all wish Anna the very best for her future career and life.
– The pumpkin photo – what’s it all about? After leaving ArchiTeam, Anna spent three weeks in Japan where she travelled five hours in the rain to take this photo of artist Yayoi Kusama’s ‘pumpkin’ on the island of Naoshima. “It was worth it”, she says.
